How to make Kenyan Brown(Millet) Ugali

How to make brown ugali.it begins by preparing flour.
Dry your millet well
Fry in a low heat using a sufuria
in the same way u do njugu Katanga for about ten minutes
Let it cool n mill it
To boiling water,add some oil,then add millet flour in small small quantity
Your cooking should be from 20minutes to 1hr for best results.
Serve hot with preferred stew or milk


How to cook Kenyan Omena(very small fish) using milk

Wash omena with hot water,,
Let it soak in that hot water for 10,to, 15 minutes (usigeuzegeuze omena ya maziwa),,
While it's still soaking,, kaaanga vitungu zile slightly brown,,add your tomatoes,plus tomato paste,, na chumvi,
Stir till its thick (cook with low heat)
Pour milk in that stew,, stir till its mixed (if you do it correctly,,, The milk will give you thick soup.DO NOT ADD WATER.
Remove your Omena from the hot water.Pour the water that has been left behind after removing the omena.Dont pour the water before you remive your omena.If you do so your Omena will be left with sand and you will eat the sand mixed with Omena.If you remove Omena first from water you will see sand settled at the base of the water
Now put your omena in the milk stew.
Cover until it boils and the milk stew has reduced and left thick
If you do it correctly,you will see even after serving its colour will be attractive.
Never stir Omena when putting milk or soup
You can add spices like:,hoho(different colours) dania,,tumeric, ginger,,cinamon.
