WEF offers affordable credit (loans) to support Women to expand their business .
It is given to economically active Kenyans above 18 who intended to
expand their business.
Any one interested MUST be in a group of a minimum of 10 members and
be registered with Social services.
The group could either be 100% women or 70% women & 30 %men.
Leadership position should be women.
Must have bank account & and be in existitence for more than three
months (don't look for each other just because you've heard about this
money)
Group must be trained on business management skills by WEF officers (
three days not thaaat intensive ) upon completion the officer gives
you the loan form and guides you on how to fill ( and active group may
take two days to fill)
There is no corruption here as long as you qualify you will get helped.
The loan amount are as follows:
First loan -100,000
Second loan - 200,000
Third loan -350,000
The payment period for the above is 12months
500,000 - payment period is 15 months
750,000- payment period is 2 years
The loan is INTEREST FREE with only 5% administrative fee. You're
given a grace period of one month before you start paying the loan.
Processing time is one month.
A training fee of ksh 100 is charged for every member & a loan tracker
booklet at 200 ( this monies are dedicated directly from your cheque
upon approval)
They do not offer individual loans but they however have products
targeting individual women such as;
