Go to Jumia offices in Westlands, They have training sessions everyday
for vendors.They will guide you through listing on their website.
*You need to have photos taken according to their specs so you can
choose to have one of their photographers do it at a fee or get your
own.
*You need to have a certain minimum number of products.
*You set the price of course bearing in mind their commision.
*Goods have to be original. They don't allow second hand.
*If you are listing as an agent/dealer of say Samsung, you need to
have a letter of authorization from Samsung stating the same.
*You can either choose to store your own products and pay for storage
or store for yourself and only deliver to Jumia when you have an
order.
*Orders placed on the website go direct to the vendor's email and you
deliver to Jumia. Jumia acts as a third party.
*Packaging is according to their specs as well so you can choose to
package for yourself following their guidelines or use their packaging
material at a fee. There's alot,if you have time just go for their
training should be from 2pm-5pm everyday.
